She explained how she introduced them to the British holiday staple known as the Christmas cracker to keep Harry’s cultural traditions alive.
A cracker is a festive cardboard tube that pops open to reveal a small toy and often confetti.
“Living in U.K., it’s such a part of [the culture] for Christmas holidays, for sure,” she said. “Typically people cross arms and do it. So they sit around a table and they all pull at the same time.”
She added, “It actually does feel really connected and sweet.”
Markle also prepares one for Harry each year. Inside his, she shared, she includes “a little love letter, a chocolate [and] a little hat.”
