Leavitt later pointed to what she called Trump’s “amazing final answer,” where he sharply attacked Somali migrants. “This epic moment put an exclamation point on President Trump’s ninth Cabinet meeting of his second term,” she said.
She added that the administration’s meetings have been “entirely open to the press” and highlight the team’s “exhaustive list of accomplishments… to Make America Great Again.”
Sharp Words for Somali Migrants
During his exchange with reporters, Trump launched into an aggressive critique of Representative Ilhan Omar and Somali migrants in the U.S.
“She’s garbage, her friends are garbage,” he said of Omar. “These aren’t people that work… These are people that do nothing but complain.”
He added, “And they complain and do nothing but b***h. We don’t want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix it.”
