The couple rarely make public appearances, with their last notable outing being at the British Grand Prix in July. However, they usually attend Catherine’s Christmas carol service each year.
Pippa has only missed the service once before, in 2021, when COVID-19 regulations limited attendance.
Debate Erupts Over Pippa Missing Catherine’s Big Event
On X, royal fans were split over Pippa’s decision to skip her sister’s biggest holiday engagement.
“It’s very telling that Kate’s sister Pippa ditched her on her most important engagement to close out the year for F1 in Abu Dhabi. The optics aren’t good,” one user claimed.
Another added, “These moments are bitter darts for Kate, no matter how you slice it. Pippa’s husband is on the board, not her. She chose not to be at Kate’s ‘Together at Christmas’ on purpose.”
Many others defended her choice.
“Her husband is on the board of one of the teams… and Williams just had one of its best seasons in years, so it makes sense they were there. It’s the time for meetings, celebrations and other fancy stuff,” a commenter explained.
Another wrote simply: “Good for her. Siblings can love each other but not do everything together.”
