Others Defend the Duke

Not everyone felt Harry crossed a line. Some sympathised with the father-of-two, arguing that public speaking is now one of the only ways he can earn a living.

One supporter wrote: “The fact of the matter is that he has to support his family, and the only way he knows how to earn money is public speaking. Why should he be criticised for that?”

Another commented: “The whole Royal Family are performing, that is their role, so Harry is fulfilling his contract.”

Ongoing Family Strain

Harry’s relationships with his relatives have remained tense since he and Meghan Markle stepped away from royal duties and relocated to the US. Tensions escalated further after the couple gave high-profile interviews criticising the monarchy, followed by the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare.

The most recent meeting between Harry and King Charles reportedly took place in September during a private 50-minute tea at Clarence House.

As for Prince William, reports suggest the brothers last saw each other in August 2024 at the funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes. The two were said to have kept their distance and did not speak.
