On Christmas Day, Kate joined the Royal Family for the traditional walk to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. A brief clip showing her greeting members of the public quickly spread online, racking up more than 3 million views on X.
The video reignited speculation, with some royal watchers claiming Kate appeared to have a visible facial scar. This observation fueled renewed conspiracy theories about her past hospitalization, with a few users even questioning whether she ever had cancer.

Commentary surrounding the video escalated rapidly. Some users focused on the placement and visibility of what they believed to be a scar.

“You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult,” Kate Middleton said.
