According to outspoken TV presenter Mark Dolan, Meghan’s potential appearance alongside Harry at the UK-based Invictus Games “One Year to Go” event could turn into what he calls “the Meghan show,” overshadowing both Harry and the games themselves.

Speaking on TalkTV and the Daily Expresso podcast, Dolan didn’t hold back.
“I genuinely think she’s going to humiliate Harry when she comes,” he claimed. “It won’t be about the Invictus Games. It won’t even be about Harry. It will be about Meghan.”

Dolan went as far as dubbing Meghan the “Duchess of Double Standards,” accusing her of rejecting royal life — only to return when it suits her personal brand.

He contrasted the situation with Harry’s brief meeting with King Charles last year, saying the Duke looked “happy for the first time in years” while in the UK.
“Harry loves Britain,” Dolan insisted. “His heart is here. But if Meghan comes back with him, he won’t be a prince — he’ll be the bag carrier.”

According to Dolan, Meghan is highly driven, ambitious, and intensely competitive — traits he says have pushed Harry into the background of his own marriage.
“He’s become the spare again,” Dolan said, “except this time, it’s in his own relationship.”

The presenter also questioned Meghan’s motives for returning to a country she has repeatedly described as hostile and damaging to her mental health.
“She said the UK press was cruel, prejudiced, and toxic,” Dolan pointed out. “So why come back now?”

His answer?
Desperation.

Dolan claimed Meghan’s popularity in the United States is at an all-time low.
“In America, they don’t like her,” he said bluntly. “She’s one of the least popular celebrities there right now. Hollywood has quietly turned its back on the Sussexes.”

As evidence, he pointed to the notable absence of major stars like Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Serena Williams from Meghan’s recent Netflix project With Love, Meghan.

“Things are not going well in the US,” Dolan added. “So she’s coming back to the UK to recalibrate her brand — and to tap into the royal connection again.”

He claimed Meghan wants to “flex that royal muscle” and remind the world she’s married to the son of the King.

Critics argue this is exactly why her return feels hypocritical.
“She walked away from the royals,” Dolan said. “Now she’s walking straight back in.”

When podcast host JJ Anisiobi suggested Meghan might simply want to support her husband as a devoted wife, Dolan scoffed.
“I think you’ve lost your marbles,” he shot back.

Dolan went further, making his most explosive claim yet:
“Meghan Markle has been a disaster for Prince Harry. I think marrying him was a career move. I don’t believe she has his best interests at heart — and her actions prove it.”

He accused Meghan of isolating Harry from his family, his country, and the monarchy he was once proud to serve.

Harry and Meghan famously stepped down as senior royals in January 2020, citing relentless media pressure and a lack of support from the Palace.

Since then, Harry has returned to the UK only a handful of times — most recently in September 2025, when he spent less than an hour with King Charles. The couple were last seen together in Britain in September 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.

Harry has repeatedly said he does not feel it is safe to bring his family back to the UK, with ongoing legal disputes over security remaining a major obstacle to reconciliation with the royal family. A decision denying taxpayer-funded police protection is now reportedly under review by the Home Office.

As speculation grows about Meghan’s potential UK appearance, one question dominates royal headlines:
