Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again found a way to charm their followers, this time with a sweet video that leaves little room for divorce speculation. The couple, who married in May 2018 and share two children, have never shied away from showing affection in public. Their latest post does exactly that, offering a glimpse of warmth and closeness that feels both intimate and intentional.

Meghan recently joined a wave of social media nostalgia centered around the year 2016. Online users have been revisiting that era, remembering everything from old photo filters to early Instagram aesthetics. The trend playfully brands 2026 as a return to 2016 energy, and Meghan decided to mark the moment in a very personal way.

In a black and white video shared on Instagram, Meghan walks toward Harry before wrapping her arms around his neck. They share a kiss, then begin dancing together in their garden, relaxed and joyful. Toward the end of the clip, Meghan jumps into Harry’s arms, her legs wrapped around his waist as they laugh and hold each other.

She revealed that the footage was filmed by their daughter, Princess Lilibet, adding a tender family layer to the moment. Alongside the video, Meghan also posted a throwback photograph from Botswana taken in 2016, the year she and Harry first met and began their relationship.

Her caption read that when 2026 feels like 2016, you had to be there. The message was simple, nostalgic, and full of affection.

Royal fans quickly filled the comments with praise. Many described the couple’s connection as genuine and enduring. Others noted the significance of the timing, pointing out that 2026 marks ten years since their relationship began.

Ten years of love and a life in California

Harry and Meghan’s romance started in the summer of 2016. Their first date in July led to a trip to Botswana soon after, and by late 2017 they were engaged. Their wedding in May 2018 became a global event watched by millions.

Today, they live in Montecito, California, with Prince Archie, now six, and Princess Lilibet, four. In 2020, they stepped away from senior royal duties to build an independent life outside the monarchy. Since then, public speculation has followed nearly every aspect of their relationship, including repeated rumours of marital strain.

Harry previously addressed these stories with humor during a New York Times DealBook Summit in 2024, joking that the media had apparently divorced them a dozen times already. His response made it clear that he views such reports as noise rather than reality.

If their latest video is any indication, the couple appear comfortable, connected, and very much united. Sometimes a simple dance says more than a thousand headlines ever could.
