Meghan surprised fans after posting a romantic clip of herself and Prince Harry, which she claimed was filmed by their four-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In the video, shared on Sunday, the Duke and Duchess are seen dancing barefoot in the garden of their Montecito home. With their arms wrapped around each other, they spin across the lawn, clearly enjoying the moment.
At one point, Harry, 41, places his hand on Meghan’s waist before playfully grabbing her behind.
“When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there. Cred: our daughter,” the former Suits actress, 44, wrote in the caption.
Skepticism Over Who Held the Camera
While the clip quickly gained traction online, many viewers questioned whether a four-year-old could really have filmed it.
“Lol my son who i think is of similar age to Lilibet would have probably recorded the grass only. No way would he hold a camera this still,” one Reddit user commented.
“Impressive job for a 4-year-old, very cute,” another added.
“I have a three-year-old. There’s no way a four-year-old recorded this lol,” a third person joked.
A Throwback to the Early Days of Their Romance
Alongside the video, Meghan also shared a photograph of herself and Harry from their 2016 trip to Botswana, which the couple have previously described as only the third time they had ever met.
In their 2022 Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Duke reflected on the significance of that trip, explaining that it helped him realise Meghan was “the one.”
“This woman that I’ve only met twice. She’s coming to Botswana and we’re going to be living in a tent for five days,” he said.
“It just felt so right, and it felt so normal.
“That was when it just hit me, like, ‘Okay, this girl, this woman is amazing, is everything I’ve been looking for, and she’s so comfortable and so relaxed in my company.'”
PR Changes Behind the Scenes
The video comes amid reports that Meghan has once again hired a crisis PR firm to handle publicity surrounding her lifestyle brand, As Ever, as well as other projects.
According to reports, Meghan previously worked with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis (SSML) during her acting career and has now brought the firm back on board following the departure of her chief communications officer, Meredith Maines.
Maines stepped down in December, becoming the Sussexes’ 11th PR officer in the past five years.
“SSML has been working on projects off and on with the Duke and Duchess since 2017. Sunshine is currently working alongside their internal team on As Ever and with the couple on efforts specifically in the US,” a source told The Telegraph.
