A funny moment from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent visit to Bondi Beach has been spreading quickly online.
The Duke, 41, and Duchess of Sussex, 44, have just wrapped up a four-day trip along Australia’s east coast. Although they’re no longer working royals, the couple still made appearances at charity events, community visits, and met with fans during their time there.
Their schedule was packed. They connected with young people from the Australian mental health group Batyr, took part in an Aboriginal walking tour in Melbourne, and Meghan even filmed a segment for MasterChef Australia, where she’s expected to appear as a guest judge. Meanwhile, Harry spent time with veterans at the Australian War Memorial.
On Friday, 17 April, they visited Bondi Beach, stopping by the Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club to meet volunteer responders who had helped during the December attack in the area.
Later, they walked barefoot along the sand toward the water, followed by large crowds of onlookers and photographers hoping to grab photos or selfies.

But one unexpected moment stole all the attention.
In a clip shared on TikTok by news.com.au, Harry and Meghan can be seen walking through the beach crowd. While most people gathered around them, one woman lying on her towel didn’t move at all. As the crowd passed, people had to step around, and even over, her.
Harry appeared to notice and pointed in her direction, laughing at the situation.
The video quickly racked up over a million views, with many viewers amused by how unfazed the sunbather was.
One commenter even claimed, “That’s my sister. She thought they were actors.”
Others joked about her attitude, calling it “peak unbothered energy” and saying they wished they could be that relaxed. Some also pointed out that she had every right to stay where she was and shouldn’t have to move just because celebrities showed up.
Many agreed she handled the moment perfectly, with one person calling her a “legend” and another saying they wanted to be friends with her.
