On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex posted a photo to Instagram showing the Duke of Sussex holding their 4-year-old in his arms. Lilibet, wearing a pink dress with matching tights, clutched a bouquet of balloons as her father looked at her with a warm smile.

Harry, who is also dad to their 6-year-old son Archie, appeared completely smitten with his little girl. Although the couple has typically shared only partial glimpses of their children over the years, Lilibet’s face was clearly visible in this image.

“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” Markle, 44, wrote in the caption.

An Early Celebration in Beverly Hills

The heartfelt post followed an early Valentine’s dinner the night before. The “With Love, Meghan” host and Invictus Games founder were spotted enjoying a date at Funke in Beverly Hills on Friday.

For the evening out, Meghan chose a brown jacket with a black collar paired with black trousers, while Harry kept it classic in a black jacket and coordinating jeans.

A Tribute From Afar

Last year, the couple spent the holiday apart, prompting Meghan to share a moving tribute online.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created,” Markle gushed on Instagram. “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you. #lovewins. As ever, M.”

The post featured a black-and-white photograph of the couple sharing a kiss.

Seven Years of Marriage

Meghan and Prince Harry married in 2018 before stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to Montecito, California, with Archie and Lilibet. Since moving to the United States, they have consistently presented a united front.

Appearing on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” in April, Meghan reflected on the early days of their romance. She shared that they used the nicknames “M” and “H” when their relationship was still under wraps.

“Probably at the beginning of us dating, when everything was in code,” confessed Markle. “People didn’t know we were dating for, talk about memory lane, so long ago.”

“I mean, it’ll be our seven-year wedding anniversary soon. I couldn’t tell anyone who I was dating, and who was keeping [the secret], so I think we were just on a letter basis,” she noted. “It stuck. I love nicknames.”

“He’s Just Constant”

Markle also praised her husband for the role he plays in their family life.

“He’s just out there, just constant, like he’s just going to do whatever he can to make sure that our family is safe and protected and we’re uplifted and still make time for date nights,” she explained.

She didn’t shy away from complimenting his looks, either.

“He’s also a fox,” she said on the podcast. “If you haven’t noticed, my husband’s very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful.”

Reflecting on their whirlwind beginning, Meghan recalled how quickly things intensified.

“At the beginning, everyone has, like, butterflies,” she said.

“Then we immediately went into the trenches together. Yeah, right out of the gate, like six months into dating.”

Now approaching seven years of marriage in May, the couple continues to publicly celebrate their bond. Marking a recent anniversary, Meghan wrote alongside a collection of family photos:

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!”
