Princess Lilibet’s playful moment
Among the clips was a short, heartwarming video of Princess Lilibet chasing chickens around the backyard.
In images featured at the end of the article, the young princess — dressed in a purple jacket and striped trousers — can be seen trying to pet one of the birds while Meghan laughs in the background.
The clip quickly sparked a wave of reactions online. “What a cutie!” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Oh Princess Lillibet [sic] has beautiful ginger hair like her daddy!” Still, not all responses were positive.
“Is that streaks of grey [sic]?” one netizen questioned, referring to the child, while another added, “More grey hair than I do. And I’m over 50.” Some remarks were more critical.
“I’m curious this Meghan Markle insisted that the nanny not brush the child’s hair [sic]?” one commenter wrote. Another expressed skepticism about the footage itself, saying, “Oh, sure, that’s Lilibet! Would’ve known that back of the head anywhere, not!”
A day spent outdoors
Beyond the clip of her daughter, Meghan’s posts suggested she spent much of the day enjoying the outdoors.
One video showed her arranging flowers for an outdoor table, while another captured her picking blossoms directly from a tree.
She later shared a quiet moment reading “They Bloom Because of You: Poems on the Infinite Love, Growth, and Magic of Motherhood” by Jessica Urlichs, closing out her series of posts.
Family life and privacy
Meghan, 44, shares two children — Princess Lilibet and six-year-old Prince Archie — with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, 41. The couple is known for keeping their children largely out of the spotlight, rarely revealing their faces on social media.
After stepping back from royal duties in January 2020, the family relocated to the West Coast, where they have since built a more private life.
Possible return to the UK
Although Prince Harry has returned to England several times in recent years, Meghan has not visited London in the past four years.
That may soon change, however. Reports suggest the Duchess of Sussex could return to the UK this summer, potentially in July, when Prince Harry is set to launch the Invictus Games in London.
