The fan, known online as Zandi Sussex, recently shared that she had secured a VIP ticket to the “Her Best Life Retreat,” a high-end event featuring the Duchess of Sussex.
“Drumroll please! I’m so excited to share that I got a ticket to the Girls’ Weekend with Meghan!!!” she wrote.
“Yes, I’ll be inside and will make sure to bring you updates. AND I went VIP so our table gets a photo with Meghan. Let’s go!”
Details of the Exclusive Retreat
The event is scheduled to take place from April 17 to April 18 at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney’s Coogee Beach area. Organised by media personality Jackie “O” Henderson and event planner Gemma O’Neill, the retreat is limited to 300 attendees.
Tickets are reported to cost around $3,000, offering guests access to a speaking appearance by Meghan, as well as a photo opportunity.

Controversial Posts Resurface
However, attention quickly shifted after older posts from Zandi resurfaced online. In several messages, she appeared to criticize Princess Catherine and question her health condition.
Despite Catherine publicly sharing in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer — later confirming she had completed chemotherapy and was in remission by January 2025 — Zandi made comments casting doubt on the diagnosis.
In one post, she wrote:
“That must be where they produced Lady Macbeth’s fake cancer AI video.”
In another, she said:
“She’s the one who had cancer, allegedly.”
She also previously referred to what she called “the great cancer hoax.”
Ongoing Criticism of the Royal Family
Zandi has frequently expressed strong opinions about the Royal Family online, often voicing support for Meghan while criticizing other members.
In multiple posts, she referred to the Prince and Princess of Wales as “Willy Macbeth and Lady Macbeth,” referencing Shakespearean characters. She also claimed Catherine “has no friends because she’s always been an attention-seeking mean girl,” and accused the couple of causing harm to others’ mental health.
She additionally commented on King Charles III’s visit to Australia, writing:
“Remember Charles was told to go back where he came from when he visited Australia in 2024. H & M got a warm welcome and a traditional blessing. They’re terrified you’ll see the difference.”

Reaction to the Australia Visit Debate
Zandi also dismissed concerns surrounding a petition opposing Meghan and Prince Harry’s upcoming visit to Australia.
“Like I said, that petition is sitting in the rubbish bin somewhere. H & M will get the protection their VIP status warrants, tantrums or not,” she wrote.
She added that she expected the couple to receive a positive reception upon arrival:
“They’ve spent years claiming Aussies’ hate Harry & Meghan, but when they arrive in April, we will welcome them with open arms #SussexSquad.”
Event Moves Ahead Amid Controversy
Despite the backlash surrounding the resurfaced comments, the retreat is expected to go ahead as planned.
It has also been noted that there is no indication Meghan Markle or Prince Harry are aware of the fan’s statements or that they endorse them.
As anticipation builds for the event, the situation highlights how online activity can quickly come under scrutiny — especially when tied to high-profile public figures.
