Wendy took a deep breath and turned to leave.But Tiara deliberately stopped her.
“Ms.Wendy,you’re here.Why didn’t you say hello to me?”
Everyone’s eyes turned toward them.The host,who had just insulted Wendy,looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole.
Wendy couldn’t leave now.So,she walked over calmly,her cold eyes sweeping across everyone.
“Ms.Lunalight,I am Mrs.Russel.My husband is here.Why shouldn’t I be here?”
“As for you,you broke up with Jack back then to chase rich foreigners.After your divorce,you ran back to the country to find him again.”
“One thing you said is right.Jack has a good temper.If I were him,I would stay far away from a woman like you,not keep you by my side as a secretary.”
“As a woman,let me give you some advice,Ms.Lunalight.If you want to remarry,find an unmarried man."
"Stop clinging to a married man every day.It’s embarrassing and it only makes people think no one wants you.”
Every word cut sharply.Wendy showed Tiara no mercy at all.
Before Tiara could act hurt,Jack spoke first,angrily scolding Wendy,“That’s enough!”
“Tia is my person.If you have a problem,take it up with me.Don’t bully her.”
The smile on Wendy’s face looked worse than crying.
Bullying Tiara?From beginning to end,the one being bullied was always Wendy.
But Jack was blind to it.Clearly,he couldn’t see it at all.
The people around looked at Wendy with pity.As the legal wife treated like this,she was probably one of a kind.
Painful memories flooded back one by one.Her illness acted up again.

Tiara pretended to step forward to stop her,but Jack stopped her instead.“Leave her alone.The entire Windfields is finished.She still carries bad temper from that.I’m not going to spoil her.”
After leaving the auction hall,Wendy went to the back garden.
The last time she came here with Jack,the place was full of plum trees.His promises were just like those flowers.It was beautiful for a moment,then quickly withered.
She didn’t want to cry,but because of her illness,tears kept falling.Her hands shook as she took out a bottle of antidepressants.Before she could take the medicine,Tiara rushed over and snatched it away.
She was no longer weak like before.Now she was sharp and cruel.
