Wendy could endure many things.But not insults about her brother.Her eyes filled with anger.“Tiara,say one more bad word about my brother,and I’ll tear your mouth apart!”
Tiara laughed coldly.“Wendy,you’re no longer the Windfield heiress.Your family is bankrupt.Jay protects me everywhere now.What do you have to fight me with?”
“Just like back then.You knew Cedric didn’t rape me.But all I had to do was act pitiful and Jay believed me.”
“I didn’t expect was that Jay would personally send his own brother-in-law to prison for me.But that proves how much he loves me.”
“Wendy,I destroyed your family once.Now I can turn you into a miserable dog again.If you don’t believe me,we can try and find out.”
Wendy completely lost control.She raised her hand and slapped Tiara hard.
“Tiara,you framed my brother.I will end your life!”She grabbed Tiara by the neck,her eyes red with rage.
Just as she thought she could finally take revenge,Jack rushed over.He pulled them apart and threw Wendy several meters away.
Wendy’s calf was cut by a sharp stone.A long wound opened,over ten centimeters.Blood stained the ground.
But Jack only looked at Tiara.“Tia,are you hurt?Are you okay?”
Tiara hid in his arms,crying softly.“Jay,I thought I was going to die just now.If you hadn’t come,Ms.Windfield would have killed me.”
Jack turned to look at Wendy.His eyes were full of disappointment and hatred.
In the past,the way he looked at her was full of love.Now,after just a few words from Tiara,only hatred remained.
Jack…Jack…You kept saying you love me.But everything you do hurts me.
"Is this what you call love?"Wendy mutterred to herself.
Jack spoke coldly.“Wendy.Apologize.”
Even in this miserable state,Wendy still refused to lower her head.
“I did nothing wrong.I will not apologize.”she continued,“Jack,you’re the one who’s wrong.You trusted Tiara.She admitted it herself just now.That,she framed my brother and destroyed my family.”
“From beginning to end,she has been acting in front of you.She has been lying to you the whole time.”
Wendy thought that after saying so much,Jack would at least question it;even if Jack didn’t fully believe her.
Yet,he didn’t.
