"We're still a couple, after all. I won't push things too far. Here's the deal. I'll take the car and house, and you can keep a third of the savings. That's my biggest concession since I'll have to raise the child!"

I sighed helplessly and looked up to meet her gaze.

"Do I need to spell it out for you? You leave with nothing. You know what I mean, so don't play dumb."

Sophia looked at me in disbelief before quickly averting her eyes.

She bit her lip, stubborn to the end. "I don't know what you're talking about. If you refuse to divorce, I'll just take your photos to court and sue for divorce!"

She thought I'd be scared if she mentioned court. Little did she know her clumsy tricks wouldn't fool a judge.

I leaned close to her ear, smirking as I whispered, "If you want to sue, go ahead. But don't think aborting the baby will stop a paternity test."

Hearing my words, Sophia couldn't stay calm.
