Before I even got a chance to say anything, he hung up the phone.
I stared coldly at my phone.
I couldn't help but hug my son's urn tightly.
I would take my son there.
And I would make you pay!
The next day, when I arrived at the Hale house, I found that everyone was there, even Lisha was there.
Lisha was hugged by Audrey Hale affectionately and was about to be brought to Charlie.
"Lisha, I've always felt that you and my brother are meant to be together. I'm sure that only you can be my sister-in-law!
"I didn't expect that after all these years, you would be with my brother!"
Audrey spoke without thinking. Everyone in her family had gotten used to it.
When she said such inappropriate words, everyone thought it was normal and even laughed.
I was the only one standing by and watching them coldly.
Audrey seemed to notice my gaze. She turned around and glared at me with disgust.
"Fiona, why are you being so rude?
"My mom and my brother both asked you to bring Sam over. Why are you the only one here? Where's Sam?"
Hearing Audrey's words, Charlie immediately changed his face.
"Fiona, what's wrong with you? Where's Sam?"
I spoke coldly, looking around at all of them with a cold gaze.
Then I looked at Charlie's face. "You still remember your son?"
Charlie was exposed and felt a little embarrassed.
"Fiona, today is Audrey's birthday. Why are you making a fuss?
"If Sam doesn't come, you should go home!"
Charlie gave me the cold shoulder without hesitation, and the people around me were chattering and laughing.
Especially Audrey and Lisha, they looked at me with smug and provocative expressions, just wanting to see me make a fool of myself.
But I just smiled coldly. "Sam is here."
Everyone was quiet. They looked around but didn't see Sam.
Then they looked at me like I was crazy. "Is this woman crazy? Where is Sam?"
I took the dark, cold urn out of my bag and placed it in front of them.
"Here."
