Behind My Husband's Broken PromiseChapter 1
The snowstorm blocked the road, I limped to the company gate and waited for my husband for two hours, but he broken the promise.
I couldn't get a taxi and my legs were not convenient, so I only can sleep in the company for one night.
The next morning, Richard Cleman replied to my message: [Something important happened last night, but I’ll pick you up today.]
Just five minutes ago, his intern Jessica White updated her Moments with a photo of Richard's back while he was making a snowman.
The post reads, "Someone braved the heavy snow to celebrate my birthday and made me a huge snowman~"
It turns out that this is the important thing he mentioned.
If it happened in the past, I might make a hysterical scene.
But I didn’t feel anything at the moment and even gave her a thumbs up.
Later I left the divorce agreement and left without a word.
Richard was completely panicked and looked for me all over the world for begging me to come back.
I held my new love's hand and said, "Didn't you that we should move forward, and anyone who looks back is a dog say at the beginning."

The city had the heaviest snowstorm in history, and my colleagues left work and took taxis two hours early.
But they still complained that they couldn't get a taxi.
"Ruby, I admire you so much. You have an injured leg, but your husband has to pick you up after getting off work. It's really hard for us as the taxi drivers don't come out in this snowstorm."
My colleague Mandy looked at my injured leg with admiration.
I couldn't help but smile bitterly.
What to admire? No one wants to get hurt.
Two weeks ago, Richard and I went shopping together and met an intern of his company on the way.
They were standing on the path and chatting happily, but they didn't notice a car ran a red light and rushed towards us at high speed!
Richard's first reaction was to hug the intern Jessica and quickly move aside.
But he knocked me down and broke one of my leg on the spot!
I was sent to the hospital, and Richard explained to me with a pale face.
"Ruby, I'm sorry, I just reacted in a hurry and had to protect the company's employees. I didn't see you..."
I said nothing.
But kept recalling Richard's nervous at that time.
Didn't see me? Indeed.
After all, his eyes only focused on others.
It takes a hundred days to heal a broken bone, and after being discharged from the hospital I had difficulty moving.
