I called Luna’s parents. They had always treated me well, so I expected them to support me. Instead, they strongly opposed my decision, urging me not to act impulsively and promising to talk to Luna. But my resolve was firm; I didn’t want to live under the burden of a green hat any longer, even if they offered me their winery as compensation to save their daughter's marriage.

That night, I lay on the side of the bed, watching TV as usual. Soon, Luna came home, took a shower, and walked into my room wearing a revealing nightgown. Her fair skin was fully exposed—a sight I hadn’t seen in five years.

“You—”

Before I could finish, Luna threw herself at me and pinned me down.

I was stunned. In the five years of our marriage, Luna had never once thrown herself into my arms like this, let alone been intimate with me or even shared a kiss. But now, what was happening? She clearly loved Felix wholeheartedly and would do anything to please him. So why was she suddenly acting this way?

Before I could react, she kissed me passionately, nearly demanding more. In the past, this would’ve sent my heart racing, stirring the primal desires deep within me. But in that moment, I felt nothing but repulsion, and I pushed her away.

She let out a small cry as she fell off the bed.

“I’m ready to be with you tonight, so why all the pretense? You looking to experience something new, right?” Luna challenged, her head held high as if she was completing a task, clearly lacking sincerity.

“I’m not interested in you,” I replied coldly.

“Hmph!” She scoffed, a hint of anger rising. “You keep pushing me and revealing everything to my parents just to sleep with me?”

“I could give you a child,” she added, her words dripping with implied grievance, painting me as a villain forcing her into submission.
