By the time I returned to school, I had become famous.

Though not in a good way.

From the school gate to the dorm, countless people were pointing fingers at me.

Some of them who despised the rich even mocked me out loud.

"Is that Sibley Pascall? She's so shameless. What a disgrace!"

"I don't even wanna admit I'm in the same department as her."

"Let's ask the principal to expel her together."

I ignored them.

My parents had taught me since I was young to control my emotions no matter when.

And whenever I was confronting my enemies, I had to take down the leader first.

As long as I found the main culprit who spread rumors about me, those people would naturally go away.

When I returned to the dorm, I found no one there.

I opened the locker to put my things in but was shocked to find that my Chanel bag, which my mom bought for me, was gone and had been replaced by a cheap black canvas bag.

Just at this moment, Daphne came back.

She avoided my gaze, and the guilt on her face was more than obvious.

I was furious. I pushed her heavily against the door, grabbed her collar, and asked in a sinister and cold voice, "Where is my bag?"

"How... How would I know?"

She stubbornly refused to admit it.

I was so angry that I burst into laughter.

"You won't admit it, will you?

"Very well. I hope you stick to your story when the cops get here."

After I finished speaking, I took out my phone and called the police.

She obviously panicked and wanted to leave, but I blocked the door.

So, she climbed onto the bed and hid under the blanket.

Although her voice was low, I could still hear her making a phone call.

One minute later, my phone rang.

It was Gerald.

From hearing Daphne on the phone, I already knew what was going on.

After answering the call, Gerald yelled at me over the phone like a barking dog.

"Sibley, it's just a bag. Do you really need to call the police?"

I sneered and asked him, "So, you instructed Daphne to steal my bag?"

"Steal? No! That wasn't stealing! I'm your boyfriend, and I have the right to control your expenses. A bag that costs 10,000 dollars is enough to cover the living expenses of many students for four years of college. I took the bag for your own good.

"You are a girl, you will get married sooner or later. Girls should know to be thrifty and frugal."

Even though I had a good temper, I couldn't help but get angry when I heard his words.
