I slammed to the ground, but the desire in my eyes was still burning. I got down on all fours and swayed like a rat. Then lunged at Jeff again, somehow, I was even stronger!
"Doctor! Audrey's going crazy again! Get her a sedative!" Jeff shouted.
Immediately, the doctor, my parents and Jeff all rushed in to restrain me. My parents and Jeff pinned my legs down. The doctor picked up the syringe.
At that moment, Eve actually came in carrying a cat and a cage. Inside the cage was a whole nest of white mice. "Dad, Mom, Jeff, I asked a psychologist, if we want Audrey to get better, we must cut her off from everything in her past. Especially her precious rats!" Eve said.
"Those rats should've been killed long ago! Just looking at them is disgusting!" Mom, Dad and Jeff all nodded in agreement, their eyes filled with disgust.
"Audrey, don't blame me, this is all for your own good …" Eve curled her lips into a cold smile and placed both the cat and the cage on the ground.
The cat stared at the white mice, howling eagerly, ready to feast. The white mice sensed danger and squeaked frantically.
In an instant, something snapped in my brain.
"Squeak squeak!" I cried out while struggling, trying to save them. But the needle had already pierced my skin.
Eve opened the cage and let the cat in. The cat swiped its sharp claws.
The white mice squealed in agony, one after another caught in the cat's mouth.
Seeing this, I completely lost my mind, even the sedative had no effect. I broke free from my parents and Jeff's hold, flipped off the bed and lunged at the cage.
I drove the cat away. But my white mice … were all dead.
In utter despair, I wailed and grabbed the dead mice in my arms, running barefoot to the end of the hallway and jumped out the window.
