“Garry, I have never done such a thing, can you believe me?” Quinn's eyes were red and she sobbed softly as she explained, “Maribel, you even forged a video to frame me."

Seeing Quinn's aggrieved look, Garry and Jarvis both felt distressed.

Garry snatched my phone and smashed it, then slapped me in the face and said with a disgusted tone, “Maribel, you are the most vicious woman I have ever seen in this world. I despise you.”

I looked at Garry in disbelief and my blood froze.

My best friend threw herself on her father's body and cried loudly as she explained, “Did you know that our father died? It was Quinn who killed him. Why don't you believe it?”

Jarvis was annoyed by my best friend's crying, so he stepped forward and kicked over the bed where the body was placed, saying sarcastically, “They acted so well that I almost thought they were your fathers.

“Don't play dead. Tell me, how much money did these two women give you to harass Quinn? and now you are playing this trick with them!”

Seeing no one responding, Jarvis's eyes flashed with ruthlessness and he kicked my father and my best friend's father's body again and again.

“No!”

My eyes were bloodshot and I rushed forward to protect my father's body.

Jarvis kicked me on the back with such force that I almost vomited blood.

Garry's brows suddenly frowned.

Quinn spoke first, “Garry, Jarvis, please don't be angry with Maribel and her. After all, I am an outsider and it's okay to suffer some grievances. I believe that they will not do this again next time.”

Jarvis's eyes were filled with anger as he sneered, “Will they dare to do it again?”

Garry's face also darkened and a storm was about to come as he responded to Quinn’s act, “Quinn, you are not an outsider.

“Don't worry, after you finish your treatment, I will definitely give you an explanation for what happened today.”

When I met Garry's sinister eyes, I shuddered.

I bit my lips tightly until the taste of rust spread in my mouth and then I regained a bit of sanity.

I said in a trembling voice, “I won't marry.”

My best friend also looked at Jarvis with extreme disappointment as she said, “I won't get married either.”

Upon hearing this, Garry and Jarvis's eyes changed.

Then, it was replaced by indifference, as if it was certain that we would be the ones looking back in tears.

Garry said calmly, “Whatever.”

Jarvis sneered, “I'm not the one asking for marriage.”
