“Bryce, don’t soften up. Garbage like her family deserves to vanish completely.”

Edith hooked her arms around his. “Bryce, let’s go redeem the prize.”

“When the money’s in hand, we can take our time getting back at this useless woman.”

At hearing about claiming the prize, Bryce’s eyes brightened with excitement, and he gave a cold smile. “Margaret, without me, you’re nothing!”

“Today, I’ll show you what a hundred million really looks like!”

“Just wait until you choke on envy.” Tabitha strutted beside him, proud and delighted.

While they were talking, a van stopped in front of us, and several big men stepped out.

The tattooed man in front glared hard. “The bar bill from last night was five million. You promised yourself you’d pay it today.”

Startled, Bryce muttered impatiently, “What are you rushing for? You’ll get your money soon enough!”

Instantly, Edith stepped in front of Bryce. “Why rush it? It’s only five million, isn't it?”

“When we’re done here, we’ll pay you right away!”

“Listen up! From now on, we’re going to be top VIPs at your bar! If anyone dares to treat us badly again, I’ll have you all fired!”

With an eye roll, they turned and headed into the prize center together.

Confidently, Bryce handed the scratch card to the employee. “Hi, I’m here to claim the prize, one hundred million.”

The employee picked up the scratch card, checked it several times, then ran it through the scanner.

Beep. After the sound, the machine said, “Scratch card invalid.”
