“Ouch... Daniel, my arm seems to be injured.”
“Emily, I’ll take you to the hospital right now!”
Once again, I was left behind.
“Miss Seville, are you bothering Mr. Brottier again?”
The paparazzi who’d rushed over, unable to catch Daniel, so they surrounded me instead.
“We heard you’ve been targeting Miss Rodat repeatedly because of Mr. Brottier. Is that true?”
I scoffed at Daniel and said, “I won’t bother him anymore.”
“It’s true you’ve been targeting her, but it’s not because of Daniel. It’s just that you can’t stand it, right?”
Someone dared to ask why. I replied casually, “I just can’t stand someone who plays the third wheel.”
Ignoring the suddenly agitated crowd, I turned and went home.
The rumors spread like wildfire. The next day, my doorstep was blocked.
Daniel had brought people to block it. His gaze was dark and sinister as he looked at me.
“Felicia, do you realize you’ve ruined Emily?”
I gripped the marriage certificate I’d pulled from the drawer, my fingertips turning white.
“Is telling the truth considered ruining her?”
Daniel’s eyes lowered and he sneered coldly, “Is this your only proof?”
He paused, his tone suddenly turning pitying and said, “Felicia, let me tell you the truth: the marriage certificate is fake.”
I snapped my head up!
“I’m giving you an explanation because you’ve been with me for so many years.”
“But Felicia, do you really think a movie star like me would end up with an agent like you?”
Daniel raised his chin. “What are you all standing around for? Make Felicia kneel and apologize to you?”
The bodyguards swarmed forward. I screamed hoarsely, “Daniel! You’ll regret this!”
Daniel replied coldly, “Felicia, we’re no longer in the same world.”
“If you learn your lesson, we can go back to how things were before; otherwise...”
Thud!
My forehead bled from the kowtow and passersby couldn’t help but stop and take pictures.
Daniel’s reputation as a doting husband was firmly established. Public opinion flipped and I became the biggest clown.
Looking at the candid photos of him passionately kissing Emily, I pulled out my phone.
“Cancel all the resources allocated to Daniel.”
I want to see how this doting husband would act without his resources!

A week after Daniel finished accompanying Emily, he took a liking to a script and, as usual, wanted me to help him secure it. But he searched the entire house and found no trace of me.
