“For an agreement, I acted beside you for five whole years. Now it’s time to say goodbye.”

“What did you say?”

His face changed, his brows tightening so hard they could crush an ant.

“What agreement? What act? Five years? Explain!”

I looked at him lightly, as if watching a ridiculous clown.

“You’re so smart. Why don’t you guess?”

I turned to leave, but he grabbed me again, holding me in a painful grip.

“Ulyssa! Don’t play games with me!”

“Tell me clearly! What is this?”

His voice trembled with real panic and unease.

Right then, Tracy seized the moment perfectly, rushing into his arms with tears falling instantly.

“Felix, it’s all my fault… don’t make things hard for Ulyssa…”

“She didn’t mean it… otherwise why would she make up something so… so obviously false, saying she acted with you for five years…”

“She has had it hard too…”

“And about the dress, it’s a five year old style. Ulyssa must have loved you too much… she didn’t mean to make me allergic…”

Her fake gentleness stabbed into every ear like needles.

Before she even finished, the confusion on Felix’s face instantly turned into outright rage.

“Ulyssa, how long do you plan to keep this up? Is it that hard to apologize to Tracy?”

“To avoid a simple apology, you made up such a cheap lie? You think these little tricks can fool me? Apologize now!”

His tone was vicious, as if the panic moments before had been my imagination.

He even tried to grab my collar again.

I smiled, stepped aside, and pulled out the paper agreement from my bag. I slapped it across his face with a sharp crack.

“Open your eyes and look carefully.”

“This is the agreement we both signed five years ago. And you’re calling me a liar?”

“Your signature, your fingerprint, the official company seal. You think I forged all that out of thin air?”

The moment the paper hit his face, the entire venue fell into absolute silence.

Felix held the document, his expression changing visibly.

He stared at every line of the agreement, his pupils shrinking little by little.

A second later, he clutched his head in pain, dazed, as if some violently buried memory was struggling to resurface.

Tracy immediately threw herself at him, crying so hard her voice trembled.

“Felix, Ulyssa must love you too much… that’s why she made up these memories to hold on to you…”

“Don’t blame her, she didn’t mean it. She just cares about you too much…”
