The Wales Children Shine at Kate’s Christmas Carol Service
For anyone who missed it, Kate Middleton’s beloved annual Together at Christmas carol service took place on Friday, 5 December — and, as always, the event drew a star-studded crowd.
Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, joined the Princess of Wales and Prince William at Westminster Abbey for an evening filled with carols and festive performances.
Among the famous names in attendance were Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Katie Melua, Eugene Levy, and Mary Berry, among others. Around 1,600 guests were treated to traditional Christmas songs, musical performances, readings, and even a Bible passage delivered by the Prince of Wales.

“They’re Really Excited”
But it was the Wales children who captured most of the attention, with many fans commenting on how quickly they are growing up — especially the youngest, Louis.
Kate shared with Dan Smith, lead singer of Bastille, just how much her children look forward to the event:
“They’re really excited, it’s become such a tradition.”
A Sweet Detail: Louis’ “Grown-Up” Handwriting
The three siblings were seen hanging red paper loops with their handwritten names on a symbolic Connection Tree, representing the value of community and meaningful moments shared together. As the evening went on, the tree filled up with dozens of paper chains, each signed by guests as they departed.
However, fans were most intrigued by a close-up photo showing the children’s contributions — particularly Prince Louis’ rarely-seen and unexpectedly mature handwriting.
The royal trio were later photographed holding candles alongside fellow attendees. Once again, viewers pointed out how much Louis has grown, with many noting his strong resemblance to George and Kate.

Social Media Reactions: “Prince Louis Isn’t So Little Anymore”
Fans took to social media to comment on Louis’ transformation.
One X user wrote: “Prince Louis is identical in appearance to Princess Katherine (Kate).”
A second added: “Little Prince Louis isn’t so little anymore!”
Another agreed: “Prince Louis has really changed — gotten taller, a proper little gentleman like big brother George.”
A fourth posted: “Prince Louis is growing into such a mature & adorable young boy. His expressions are remarkably refined.”
And a fifth summed it up: “Prince Louis is growing up. This is such a sweet photo.”
