How to prepare cucumber and lemon infusion

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cucumber (with peel if organic)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 and a half glasses of water (about 300 ml)

Preparation:

  1. Slice the cucumber thinly.
  2. Place the water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add the cucumber and let it boil for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Strain the infusion and add the lemon juice.
  5. Drink it lukewarm, about 30 minutes before going to sleep.

Tip: If you want to enhance the flavor and benefits, add a teaspoon of natural honey or a pinch of grated ginger.
