No matter where you live, whether it’s the countryside or the city, there’s nothing more “terrifying” than seeing a cockroach take a walk on the table, an army of ants taking over your house, or a mouse trying to make a new nest in your closet.

To permanently eliminate the problem of insects in our homes, there are a myriad of products available. However, they are all real concentrates of chemicals and very harmful to our health.

Below we explain how to remove insects from our homes without resorting to that type of product and obtaining practically identical results.

Ants

Simply pour a little coffee powder over the ants’ entry points, such as doors or windows. Coffee has a repellent action that will keep ants away.

Another effective method is to dissolve 100 grams of sugar in 250 ml of water and then add two tablespoons of borax. Dip a cotton ball in the solution and apply it near the anthill.

Fruit flies

They are harmless but very annoying. To remove them, simply wipe the surfaces around the fruit container with a cloth moistened with warm water.

Bedbugs

Flies and ants are annoying, but bedbugs are downright harmful, as they can cause skin reactions and itching.

To get rid of them, just put turmeric bags under the mattress or sofa. This spice has antibacterial properties that will keep bedbugs away.

Spiders

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove cobwebs. It is the best method to ward off spiders.

Cockroaches

These insects love dark places. Place bay leaves in the corners of your house, or sprinkle baking soda mixed with sugar.

Remember that it’s super important to keep your home clean to keep bugs and other unwanted guests away.
