“Are you accusing my doctors?” he asked.

“That’s impossible,” he murmured. “My wife supervises all of Sophia’s treatment.”
Maria lowered her eyes.
“That’s exactly why I was afraid to speak before,” she admitted. “But if nothing changes, your daughter may not survive the next few months.”
Victor didn’t sleep that night.
Instead, he ordered his private security team to begin a full investigation immediately.
They reviewed security footage from inside the mansion—cameras that had rarely been checked before.
