She exposed Naomi’s declined luxury purchases and calmly revealed that Harrison’s “successful” fund was drowning in debt. The truth spilled out piece by piece: maxed-out cards, fake confidence, collapsing finances, and a desperate scheme to use Olivia’s money to plug a hole big enough to swallow the whole family.
They retaliated almost instantly.
Before the day ended, Olivia was served with a lawsuit. Her parents had filed an emergency injunction to freeze her payout, claiming that because her father once bought a laptop and she had lived on their property while building her company, they were entitled to half of everything. It was not just greed. It was extortion disguised as parental sacrifice.
Olivia did not panic.
From her hotel suite, she called her attorney and gave one order: stop playing defense. Buy the debt attached to the family estate. All of it.
While her legal team prepared for court, Olivia dug through digital archives and pulled together the evidence that would destroy her parents’ fabricated story. At the hearing the next morning, her family performed like professionals. Patricia cried. Richard played the wounded patriarch. Their lawyer waved a receipt for an old laptop like it was the founding charter of Olivia’s company.

The computer in question had never been used by Olivia at all. Manufacturer logs showed it had belonged to Harrison, who spent thousands of hours gaming on it. Olivia had built her software on a refurbished surplus desktop bought with money she earned herself while working diner shifts. The judge was furious. He dismissed the case with prejudice, sanctioned her parents for filing a fraudulent claim, and exposed them in open court as liars who had tried to weaponize the legal system against their own daughter.
But humiliation in court did not stop them.
