Something shifted in the room.
Something was wrong.
“Would you like to explain?” the judge asked.
Elena took a breath.
She glanced at her children.
Then at Daniel.
“My name… is not Elena.”
Silence.
Complete.
“My real name… is Victoria Hale.”
The name hit the room like a shockwave.
The lawyer went pale.
Vanessa dropped her bag.
Daniel’s smile disappeared.
Because that name… meant power.
Money.
Influence.
“The Hale family?” the judge asked carefully.
She lifted her chin.
“Yes.”
The twins tightened their grip on her hands.
Then she said quietly:
“Everything you think you own… was never yours.”
Daniel stood abruptly.
“This is insane!”
But the judge was already reviewing the documents again, more intensely.
“If this is authentic…” he murmured, “…this is far beyond a divorce.”
He looked at Daniel.
“This could dismantle everything you believe you control.”
For the first time—
Daniel felt fear.
Victoria stepped forward.
“I’m not finished.”
She reached into her bag again and placed a small device on the table.
“This… is just the beginning.”
The judge stared at it.
“What does it contain?”
She met his eyes.
“The truth.”
The device sat there… silent, but heavy with meaning.
The judge hesitated before touching it, as if he knew there was no turning back.
“What exactly is on it?” he asked.
Daniel forced a laugh.
“Probably fake evidence—another stunt—”
“Enough.”
He fell silent.
Victoria spoke calmly.
“It contains original data, transaction records… and private conversations.”
Vanessa stepped back.
“Conversations?”
Victoria looked at her.
“Yes. Yours too.”
Vanessa froze.
The device was connected. The screen lit up.
Files appeared.
Numbers. Code.
Then—
a video.
A bedroom.
Victoria’s home.
And there they were.
Daniel and Vanessa.
Laughing.
Drinking.
“In a few days I’ll kick her out,” Daniel said on screen. “She won’t see it coming.”
“And the kids?” Vanessa asked.
“I’ll take them. She has nothing.”
A quiet gasp filled the room.
“And the company?” she pressed.
Daniel smirked.
“It’s already mine. She has no idea what she signed.”
The judge paused the video.
Silence.
“Do you still deny this?” he asked.
Daniel was pale.
“That doesn’t prove anything illegal—”
“That’s not all,” Victoria said.
More files opened.
Transfers.
Millions.
Hidden accounts.
“He redirected company funds,” she said, “for personal use.”
Vanessa began shaking.
“I didn’t know—”
“You did,” Victoria said softly.
Then came audio.
“If we sell it before she notices… we’ll make a fortune.”
