Excess humidity, poor ventilation and perhaps water leaks can lead to the appearance of annoying mould on the walls, which appears in the form of black spots that are difficult to remove.

Mold on the walls is not only ugly, but it is also dangerous to both the structure of the house and our health. There are tons of health conditions associated with inhaling mold spores.

The black and greenish spots of mold have a strong, pungent odor. They release mycotoxins that cause respiratory diseases, allergies or asthma problems.

Fortunately, there are quick and inexpensive ways to remove mold from the walls of the house, which prove especially effective when the stains are recent. If the stains have been there for a long time, you may need to call a professional.

white vinegar

Pour 250 ml of white vinegar into a spray bottle. Spray directly on the mold stains and wait about 5 minutes.

Then wipe with a clean cloth. If the stain does not come off, try applying it several times.

Tea Tree Oil

Dilute one tablespoon of tea tree essential oil in half a liter of water. Pour into a spray bottle and spray onto stains. After about 5 minutes, scrub the stains with a toothbrush until they disappear.

Finally, wipe the wall with a microfiber or cotton cloth and let dry.

Sodium Percarbonate

Pour 3 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate into half a liter of warm water and mix well until perfectly dissolved.

Pour the solution into a bottle fitted with a spray bottle and spray on the areas affected by mold. Rinse after 5 minutes and finally wipe with a clean cloth.

Remember to wear gloves and a mask when working on mold stains. Choose the method that works best for you and try to get rid of mold stains for good.
