After Losing My Memory, I Married My EnemyChapter 1

After losing my memory, I fell in love with my deadly foe. I thought I would be treated coldly.

But he was suddenly caring towards me.

Finally, I couldn't help but bare my heart.

The pair of affectionate eyes suddenly turned cold. Then, he said in a nasty tone, "Leah Wilson, do you really think I meant that?

"It seems they didn't lie. How does it feel to be played like a dog?"

The huge contrast made me become the biggest joke.

But he had no idea that my memory had been restored long ago.

Besides, I was dying.

Samuel Whitman's phone always did not answer my phone.

I tried to contact him in many ways, but all failed.

I stared blankly out the window. The last ray of afterglow faded, and night fell, but Samuel still didn't come back.

It was not the first time that Samuel just stopped contacting me.

As early as a week ago, Samuel began to avoid me frequently.

He did it on purpose.

No one knew him better than I do.

After losing my memory, I forgot many things that happened in the past.

The worst one was that I forgot that Samuel and I were not on good terms.

I had no idea how I fainted.

After waking up in the ward, my mind got blank. And the unfamiliar environment made me highly uneasy and frightened.

With a look of scrutiny and impatience, the man who claimed to be my brother threatened me, "Leah, you can't avoid any problems by pretending to have amnesia."

Another one said he was my childhood sweetheart. He looked suspicious. Obviously, he didn't believe me. Then, he mocked me, "Leah, you pretended to be sick to trick us last time. Are you trying to do it again this time?"

From their few words, I learned that I was a habitual liar and had misbehavior.

They came to visit me not out of concern or worry for me but wanted me to apologize to a young girl.

But I had no idea who they were.

Just as I was isolated and helpless, Samuel appeared.

His appearance brought some warmth to the cold world.

"M-May I have your name?"

Stepping forward, I grabbed his hand. It seemed that I had finally met someone I could rely on. I couldn't help feeling a little wronged and sad. Then, I choked up, "Why did you come to see me so late?"

Samuel showed a slightly puzzled face, but soon, his face returned to normal.

From that day on, Samuel often stayed by my side.

He was so nice to me that everyone around me thought Samuel was under a spell.
