When I Love You, The Emotion Is the Most Pure1

After the exam, my head teacher, Mary Lewis, held the test paper and scolded me.

"Charlotte Mason, looking at your test results this time, you are third from the bottom in the class! You are about to graduate, you know? If you continued to be irresponsible for your life, you will end up jobless!"

Mary glanced at my test paper with disdain and threw it in my face. "Tell your parents to see me tomorrow!"

I was humiliated in front of the whole class, while the last and second-to-last students in the class were not only even mentioned because one of them was the niece of our school's vice principal, and the other was born in a government official's family.

"What about the other two people who got even worse scores than me? Why don't you tell their parents about the test result?"

I couldn't accept that Mary only targeted me.

Before this test, my right hand was injured due to a small accident, so I had to rest for half a month.

Even though I hadn't fully recovered yet, I managed to take the test with my left hand and couldn't even finish it when the time was up. That was why I got such a terrible grade.

However, as my head teacher, Mary should care more about my injuries than my scores.

Mary glared at me and said, "Why do you care about other people when you can only take care of yourself? Tell your parents to go to my office tomorrow!"

I would definitely surrender!

My dad, Alexander Mason, earned millions of dollars every minute, so I couldn't waste his time on this.

Not to mention my mother, Jaqueline Morison. As a superstar, if she came to my school, she would definitely draw everyone's attention, and my high school life would be totally messed up.

My brother, Jake Mason, was the most popular professional racing driver in the Formula Racing League, with thousands of fans.

And my grandfather, Felix Mason...

I had nothing to say.

I didn't dare to tell Felix to be scolded by Mary since he was a retired soldier who had been stern since I was a child. Though he wouldn't scold me, Alexander and Jake would suffer Felix's anger on my behalf!

After class, Patricia Clemens and Janice Carter immediately rushed toward me aggressively.

Patricia said, "Charlotte, what did you mean?"

I glanced at them as if they were idiots. "What do you mean?"
