Mr. CEO, Please Stay Away from Me!Chapter 1
I got married in a flash. My boss, James Bright, became my husband.
Salary raise was all I asked. Unexpectedly, I became a boss lady.
My boss, James, was a weird person. In order to force him to get married, his mother locked him up with a beautiful woman, but he chose to jump out of the window and run away!
Before we got married, I asked him, in secret "Mr. Bright, do you hate women?"
My name was Hollie Cox. After graduating for three years, I, a millennial, had achieved nothing.
Given that my daily work required little efforts, I didn't want to quit.
Besides finishing my work, I had to act as Mr. Bright's assistant, which was beyond my job scope.
It irked me.
Fearing that he would be unhappy and fire me, I had to continue to work hard for him.
Then, one day, I discovered his secret.
Here's the thing. As usual, I made him a cup of Latte at 3 p.m. on time.
After walking into his office with the coffee, I found that he was not there. So, I had to tidy up his desk to show that I was loyally fulfilling my responsibilities.
Then I saw there were about 100 photos of different beauties in a folder of his, which dumbfounded me.
I sighed, wondering how come he had such a hobby. Seeing that no one was around, I, who found beauties a feast to the eyes usually, began to flip through the photos one by one.
So I didn't even notice when James appeared in front of me fiercely!
I felt an inexplicable force approaching me from my back.
Looking back, I saw James looking at me sharply. I was so scared that I caught my breath. The photos in my hand were scattered all over the ground.
I quickly lowered my head to pick them up. Then James' cell phone rang. I deliberately slowed down to try to catch some wind of his private life.
Picking up the call, James said, "Mom? Didn't I tell you? I'm not going!"
"Not going? What is he referring to?" I pricked up my ears at his words.
"Well, James, you're an adult now. You'd better think about your personal matters. The blind date I arranged for you is absolutely reliable."
I couldn't help but laugh, thinking to myself, "There must be something wrong with James' sexual orientation!"
"I told you, I'm not going. Don't make trouble for me, okay?" Mr. Bright sounded somewhat impatient.
I sped up and arranged the photos of the beauties on his desk.
