As soon as I entered the room, I kicked him in the stomach and kicked him off the sofa.
He fell to the ground with a muffled sound and he also sobered up.
"Baby ... Baby, what's wrong?"
"Lucas, how dare you lend my Maybach to someone else!"
He was stunned for a moment. Before he reacted, I slapped him in the face and four bright red fingerprints immediately appeared on his face.
"I told you when we first started dating that you can use anything I have except this Maybach. You are so bold as to lend it to Ariana, that intern!"
"Babe, what are you talking about? I didn't lend your Maybach to anyone." He tried to dodge it.
"Well, how do you explain that the car is gone?"
I sat on the sofa and stared at him coldly as he spoke incoherently.
The man was stunned again. He turned over and knelt on the ground, with both hands resting on my knees, then tears streamed down his face.
"I was wrong. I scratched the car when I drove it out. I didn't dare to tell you. I thought I would get it fixed in the next two days. I have already sent it to the workshop."
If I had not heard my colleague's words this morning and seen the photos, I would have been deceived by Lucas' superb acting skills, but I knew it all too well in my heart!
"Lucas, I saw Ariana showing off the photos she took with my Maybach in the office this morning."
He froze and said, "It's impossible. When I lent it to her, I told her not to take photos."
"You said you didn't lend the car out, so why did you lend it to Ariana now?"
He probably felt guilty too, his voice getting quieter and quieter.
"Baby, I didn't dare to tell you because I was afraid you'd get angry."
He was so afraid that I would get angry, but the girl had started to take over my assets. How could I just stand by and watch?
"Alright, whoever scratched it should pay for it. Give me the bill from the workshop."
Facing my increasingly cold gaze, Lucas shivered uncontrollably.
"I haven't paid yet. I paid a deposit, but I haven't received a bill."
It was not that he had not received the bill, the car was still in Ariana’s hands, wasn't it?!
I guessed what Lucas was thinking was that the Maybach was in a separate garage and I would not even notice it for a while, so he could just wait for Ariana to drive it for a few days and then put it back in the garage.
I gave a cold smile and asked, "Which workshop did you repair it in? Come with me to take a look."
