You Wavering Scumbag, Please Leave!Chapter 1
Before I woke up, Spencer Horne locked the door from outside.
When I woke up, I called him countless times, but he didn't answer.
In the end, I missed the math final exam.
At noon, he came back with my favorite strawberry cake.
"It's just that you missed an exam! College life without dating or failing in exams is a boring one."
"Sorry, I'm used to locking the door when I go out. I had a meeting this morning and put my cell phone on silent mode."
"To make up for my mistake, I specially bought your favorite strawberry cake. Since you didn't make it to the exam, you can take an extra exam later."
He picked up the cake with a smile and waved it in front of me as if missing the exam was a trivial matter.
I looked at his face which had appeared in my dreams countless times in silence. I had mixed feelings.
I asked probingly, "Did you trap me for the sake of Monica Keith?"
He stopped smiling, looking slightly embarrassed, and I knew the answer.
"Spencer, you do play every trick you can to pursue her."
Feeling extremely sad, I wanted to leave immediately, but he grabbed my hand and stopped me.
"Daisy, you are excellent. You have won the first-class scholarship for two consecutive years. Let Monica be the winner once this year. In this way, she can have a better resume in her search for a job later."
He explained in a hurry and confessed his inner thoughts.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Spencer, as you wish, let's stop seeing each other."
With a crack, the cake fell to the ground and broke into pieces.
I dragged my body in exhaustion back to the dorm and received a bank transfer notification.
He transferred 333 dollars to me.
He remarked, "Monica said that the bonus for the first-class scholarship in your school is 167 dollars, and I will give you 333 dollars."
"Give her the honor, while you will take the money. It's a win-win situation. Calm down."
They had only known each other for a week, but he called her Monica intimately.
I had known him for 15 years, but he called me by my full name.
Sure enough, he acted differently in front of the one he loved and the one he didn't.
For so many years, I had been trying to get close to him.
I came from a poor family, so I studied hard to catch up with him and got admitted into a university in the city where he worked.
I didn't believe that he couldn't feel my love for him.
