"I like her as soon as I see her. Can I ask her to take care of me in the future?" She said to Dean coquettishly.
Dean narrowed his eyes and reached out to pinch her cheek affectionately.
"I'll listen to you. Lina, let her help you tidy up your room."
My hand suddenly tightened.
Lina was my nickname.
It was how Edward called me!
I nodded numbly and went into the master bedroom to clean up.
She followed me in, showed who she was and wiped her hand with a wet tissue in disgust.
"What bad luck. How can trash like you work as a nanny in such a place?"
She had a condescending look on her face.
The smell of cigarettes that should have lingered in her memory had been covered by the inferior perfume.
But her familiar face and familiar movements still made me tremble unconsciously.
She was my nightmare!
Back then, I could barely make a living by picking up garbage.
When Elina, the school bully, saw this, she directly led people to surround me, forced me to eat garbage, scalded me with cigarette butts, and robbed me of the money for selling waste.
Just because I was a bastard that no one wanted... I could be bullied at will.
My memory was interrupted by a burst of pain in my body. I covered the right side of my face that had been slapped by her.
"You can't react until I hit you. You're really a bitch." Elina pointed at my nose and cursed fiercely.
She grabbed my ear tightly and warned me.
"If you dare to mention the past in front of Dean, I will definitely not let you off!"
I nodded in a daze.
"Selina, don't you know how to cook for me?"
While I was cleaning Elina's room, Dean's furious voice suddenly came from the dining room.
I was stunned.
Usually, I would cook a big table of his favorite dishes, but he didn't even look at them.
There were even a few times when I knocked them over and picked up the food on the ground.
Why did he suddenly...
I didn't have time to think and ran to the kitchen while Elina was frowning.
I quickly made a table full of dishes.
When they sat down, the porridge and side dishes for myself were still warm.
"You, peel the crabs for me!"
She arrogantly stopped me from entering the kitchen again.
I looked at Dean's cold eyes and began to peel the crab silently.
"Dean, thank you for preparing so many dishes for me."
She turned to look at Dean and kissed him shyly on the cheek.
