Someone shouted in my ear:
"Hey gorgeous! Can I buy you a drink?"
I stopped and turned to look at the guy.
Our eyes met, understanding each other instantly.
I sized him up.
Oh? Not bad at all.
I smiled slyly.
Then I slipped my hand into his belt and pulled him towards the bar.
Two drinks were served, and I immediately poured his drink into my glass.
Seeing his puzzled look, I smiled and said:
"Impairs functionality."
Everything flowed naturally, and we were about to leave the bar.
But as soon as we stepped out, we ran into Lucas Barnes.
I pretended not to see him, walking past him with the guy, but he grabbed my hand.
"Kelly Drew, are you that desperate?"
What was that tone, angry? Anxious? Sad?
"Let go, what's it to you?"
Lucas Barnes frowned, his voice heavy with sadness: "The kid's mom, the kid cried all night at home!"
I was about to speak when the guy next to me quickly said:
"Sorry, I didn't know you were married."
And then he fled back into the bar.
I was utterly bewildered.
"Lucas Barnes, are you crazy! What does this have to do with you!"
Losing my catch, who wouldn't be pissed?
"I..."
"You're insane!"
I stomped on his foot hard, then hailed a cab and left, my good mood ruined by him.
The next day, I went to the club class.
For once, I brought a book and pen because the senior teaching this class is hot!
Those biceps and abs make me drool.
"You there, answer this question."
I was daydreaming about Senior John Carter when my roommate shook me hard, bringing me back to reality to answer the question.
... I couldn't answer if my life depended on it.
I was too busy admiring Senior John Carter's biceps wrapped in that white shirt.
If you asked me to draw the muscle structure of those biceps, I could do it in no time.
"John, I don’t know how to do it."
"I saw you staring at me so intently, I thought you were very focused."
John, I'm just craving your body!
Your esteemed knowledge is too much for my brain to handle.
I looked at John Carter sincerely, "John, I’m willing to make up for it after class. Please teach me well."
"Alright, follow me after class."
The classroom erupted.
"Ah, John, I don’t know how to do it either!"
"If you don't know, then pay attention to the class."
Yes!
This is a blessing in disguise!
After class, I eagerly followed John Carter.
"Why are you walking so slowly?"
I snapped out of my daze and replied, "I'm keeping up, I'm keeping up."
