"But how did he untie himself in the end?"

"This question is more than I can answer."

After that, the system automatically went offline.

I could imagine all the embarrassment Alan would face as he waited for someone to rescue him. His male pride would not allow him to let me go.

But after that night, I disappeared completely. I traveled all over the world for more than a month. If it wasn't for Bella's wedding, we would have never had the chance to see each other again.

Fay came to see me in person three days later.

She came to my wedding dress design company as a guest and asked me to receive her.

"I've seen your design draft. It's very unique." She took a sip of coffee and said, "I'll trouble you to design my wedding dress."

I smiled and said, "Can I refuse?"

If I had known that Alan was going to marry her, given my personality, I would never have taken the order.

"Could it be that you still have feelings for Alan?"

Given their relationship, I'll be blunt.

"I don't want to be entangled with him anymore."

Seeing the surprise that flashed across Fay's eyes, I continued, "I have forgotten about him. It's pathological."

Through her, Alan soon found out that I had lost my memory.

He was stern with cold eyes and sneered, "Amy, you liar."

"If you don't believe it, whatever."

After saying that, I turned around and was about to leave, but he suddenly grabbed my wrist. I leaned back and almost fell. He just stared at me, trying to find a flaw in my words.

I looked calm and composed, "Maybe there's nothing worth reminiscing about, so it's better to forget it."

He was so angry that his face turned dark.

I shrugged, looking nonchalant.

Alan didn't say a word and violently stuffed me into the car.

"Mr. Scott, let's part ways in peace." I said.

He ignored me and started the car. Then he said the cruelest words without leaving any trace in his eyes, "After I expose your lies, do you think I will keep you alive?"

I wouldn't live long anyway.

I simply looked out the window and said nothing more.

Exactly as soon as I got to the self-service machine to get my number, I saw the best man Jeff in a white coat. He waved at me, "Amy."

Alan put his hands in his pockets and looked at me in a mysterious way. I was just about to say that what a coincidence, but I finally said, "You really came here."

I winked at Jeff.
