Divorce Trap: Mistress, Don’t Be Too ArrogantChapter 1

Kyle died in a car accident on the elevated road after talking to me about divorce.

The mistress arrogantly threatened to take away all the inheritance and kick me out of the house.

I pretended to ignore it when Kyle was alive.

Now that Kyle was gone, let's see how I deal with you!

I stopped paying the monthly mortgage, froze the bank cards, and got the property certificate before the mistress could take action. Two-thirds of Kyle's inheritance was now in my hands.

The mistress was not happy and she was using Kyle's parents to deal with me.

I had already arranged everything.

——

Kyle was dead!

There was still half an hour before the date. He had a car accident on the elevated road and the car was destroyed and he died on the spot.

When I arrived, I could no longer recognize him.

Loraine quickly learned about this matter and went to Kyle's parents' place to cause trouble, demanding all of the inheritance from Kyle.

She had the illegitimate child of Kyle, the only grandson of the Parma family.

Kyle also gave him a nice name, called "Louis"!

Haha! I watched Loraine drinking tea with Kyle's parents, calling them good father and good mother.

I felt disgusted and said, "I am Kyle's wife, according to the law, his inheritance belongs to me and my child. As for you, you have no right to inherit any property of the Parma family!"

After hearing my words, she was not very happy. She touched her belly and smiled coldly.

"The child in my belly is the grandson of the Parma family. The mother is noble by her son! Kyle has long wanted to get rid of you. You are a useless woman who can't give birth to a baby."

Kyle's parents raised their heads and couldn't help but sigh, "Maria, this is the Parma family's grandson. We cherish him! If you dare to have any thoughts, we would be impolite."

Kyle's parents’ attitude was clear. With their support, Loraine became even more arrogant.

"This matter is settled. It should be taken care of before my son is born. I have a short temper, and if I get angry, the grandson of the Parma family, will not have a good time."

Kyle's parents smiled apologetically and asked her not to be angry. They warned that no one would dare to bully their future grandson. I smiled faintly and lifted my head, saying, "There's no need for money! There's a way out. Just turn right when you leave and don't come back!"

Chapter 2

Loraine smiled instead of getting angry, "Okay! No wonder Kyle doesn't like you!" Her tone was cold and strange as if she were the legitimate wife.

I was not angry either. As the legally protected legal wife, I couldn't let myself suffer even if my in-laws were confused.

Loraine, this woman was extraordinary and particularly difficult to deal with.

She stood with a big belly, her sly eyes scanning the room and finally settling on the 19th-century Roman painting in the living room.

Then she sarcastically asked me, "Is this painting an authentic piece?"

I didn't want to talk to her because my in-laws were planning to make me sign a property exit agreement. I squinted at her.

Kyle's parents stood up and walked over to her, saying warmly, "We don't buy fake goods in our family! This painting is worth 200 thousand dollars!"

Loraine was extremely satisfied. She understood what Kyle's parents had just said and followed their meaning to say to me, "Kyle has not loved you for a long time! You are staying here just to get some inheritance. But unfortunately, you cannot give birth to a baby, so the Parma family will not give you any money!" She smirked and stayed in front of me.

"This villa looks pretty good! Let's use it as a gift for my son's introduction!" She didn't ask for my opinion but informed me.

Loraine's gaze turned to Kyle's parents, and their eyes sank, nodding as if they had made up their minds, "Maria, it's not easy for Loraine to be pregnant. This place is closest to the hospital. Kyle still has a small house in the countryside. Will you move there?"

I smiled calmly and said, "Nina and I live together! I have been living here with Kyle for twelve years! I didn't expect you to come and bully the legal wife while he was dead."

Kyle's parents’ faces instantly turned ugly. I nodded toward them, "Mom and Dad, you asked me to sign a property withdrawal agreement, but everything here was built by Kyle and me."

"In fact, I can call you Mom and Dad, my daughter's grandparents. But if we don't get along, we can go our separate ways."

Loraine's face stiffened. She walked up to Nina and grabbed her collar, saying, "Little girl, your mom is really powerful. Haha, you look so wrinkled. It must be hard for Kyle to see. Such a countryside girl is especially suitable for living in the countryside. I'm telling you, Maria, you don't even know your limitations. Why do you bother competing?" She said, pinching my daughter's cheek hard.

The little one's cheek swelled up and turned red, crying and asking me to hold her.

Loraine proudly threw Nina at me. With just that one throw, Nina's body was covered in bruises.

Loraine was too ruthless.

No matter how good her temper was, she couldn't bully my daughter in front of me.

My husband just died, and this mistress had shown her true colors.

It was really cunning and powerful.

I was not that simple to be bullied.

I held my daughter tightly and gently comforted her. The family was fighting over her father's inheritance, but the child was innocent.

"Nina, I will defeat this witch for you!" I whispered to my daughter, and she hugged my shoulder with tears in her eyes. "Mom, I support you!"

She sobbed softly, not wanting to embarrass me.

In order to prevent my daughter from being hurt more, I came up with an idea. I picked up Nina and said, "Loraine is pinched. She won't feel pain. After all, Nina is only four years old! How dare you mess with the Parma family's granddaughter!"

My in-laws frowned at Nina's swollen face, while Loraine, seemed indifferent. She glanced at me, who had a pale face, and laughed even more happily.

"I'll give you half a month. When the time comes, I'll come to collect the house. If you don't leave, I'll make sure you can't live a normal life!"

My in-laws had come to understand Loraine's temper very well during this time. They advised me to sign a property withdrawal agreement. Loraine smirked at me and I trembled as I held the pen. I said, "I haven't seen this agreement, I need some time to look at it."

My in-laws knew that being tough wouldn't work, so they agreed to take the signed agreement when Loraine came to collect the house.

My in-laws said, "You know very well that your fate with the Parma family has come to an end. We can't give you anything!"

My in-laws were shrewder than Loraine, but their intentions were the same.

They wouldn't give me a penny in this inheritance division.

They wanted to kick me and my daughter out.

I glanced coldly at them. I wasn't weak. After having my daughter, I became even stronger. Loraine wanted to inflict pain on me and my daughter, but I wouldn't let her succeed. I would get back every penny.

Chapter 3

After sending off my in-laws and Loraine, I made a phone call.

This was the most famous property division lawyer in New York. I wanted to get the property certificate for this villa first.

When I bought it, I paid half of the money, but only wrote Kyle's name on it.

Now Loraine wanted to fight for the family property.

I knew the competition between me and her had just begun.

My daughter hugged me with fear and asked, "Who is that aunt? Why does she bully me? Why is she treating Mommy badly with Grandpa and Grandma?"

Although Nina was young, she saw everything that happened at home. I didn't want to hide it from her, but I didn't want her to be hurt too deeply. I told my daughter, "That aunt is not a good person. She is here to cheat money! Grandpa and Grandma don't know the truth and have been deceived by her."

Nina seemed to understand something important. She asked again, "Where did Daddy go? I haven't seen him for several days. That aunt is really bad. Let Daddy come and beat her up."

My heart was once again hurt by these childish words. In Nina's heart, her father Kyle was a strong and reliable man who would protect her.

I held my four-year-old daughter tightly, not wanting this cruel inheritance division to leave any shadow in her heart.

"Nina, Mommy wants to discuss something with you. Is that okay?"

My obedient daughter nodded, "Mommy, you can tell me. I always listen to Mommy!"

"I will send you to my mother's house for a while, and I will come back to pick you up when things are settled!"

Although my daughter was reluctant, she still accepted my advice.

I sent Nina to a safe place.

I communicated with Mr. Roerig in New York and fought for more legal assistance.

Two weeks later, Loraine appeared at the villa again, to help me move.

Chapter 4

"Why haven't you moved out yet! Get out of here! Make way for my son!" Loraine gestured in front of me, as if she were the owner of this house.

She stood in front of me, pointing at my nose and scolding me fiercely.

"How shameless! Occupying my house and refusing to leave! Get out!!"

Her voice was loud, and everyone in the villa heard the commotion.

I closed my eyes, pale-faced, and watched as the two women beside her moved things around the villa.

But this was my home!

I made a phone call, and the butler and several servants arrived in five minutes.

Several people looked at Loraine arrogantly in the villa hall.

Loraine said with her hands on her hips, "This villa will be mine in the future. You all have to listen to me. Now throw away her garbage, it's bothering me!"

She laughed arrogantly, with a cold and domineering expression, giving a sense of a petty person's success.

The butler and servants looked at me with doubt in their eyes, they wouldn't believe Loraine.

I spent twelve years here with Kyle.

I recruited all these people one by one.

They would stand with me.

I didn't want to lose my home.

I confronted Loraine and said loudly, "Get this woman out!"

The butlers were stunned and immediately acted, trapping the two women brought by Loraine in a few minutes and tying them up.

The situation changed too quickly.

Loraine knew that she was outnumbered, but she had more people than just these. She glared at me angrily, "Maria, bitch! How dare you! I'll make my parents tear you apart!"

All the elderly members of the Parma family present frowned. Loraine's hostility was too strong. When did the Parma family produce such a person?

The butler, Paul, called the police.

He looked at Loraine calmly and said, "Mrs. Parma has been here for twelve years. Even if Mr. Parma is no longer here, it's not your turn to bully her."

After hearing this, Loraine laughed instead of getting angry, "What is Maria? Everything she has was given by Kyle. Now all of Kyle's property belongs to me! I am the owner of the Parma family."

As soon as Loraine finished speaking, some strong men rushed into the villa aggressively.

The situation was suddenly out of my control. Loraine pointed at me and said, "Throw this woman out!"

They rushed over, wanting to tie me up.

Paul was scared but quickly reacted and the servants blocked me behind them.

"Who are you?"
