I Died for a Crime I Didn’t CommitChapter 1
My wife asked me to take the car to the Car Dealer for maintenance and soon after I got home, I received a call from the police.
They said I killed someone while having sex in a car and was suspected of hit-and-run.
When I arrived at the scene, I was stunned by the scene before me.
My car was parked on the side of the road with a dent in the front and a cracked windshield.
A few dozen meters ahead, three people were lying in a pool of blood, one of them a 2- year-old child, in a horrible state.
When the onlookers saw me appear, they began to accuse me, “It was him. He was driving very fast and rammed straight into the family of three without even slowing down.”
“Yes, I waited for a long time before a woman came down from the cab in disheveled clothes with lipstick marks all over her face.”
“Instead of calling the police or an ambulance, he even laughed at the kid for being stubborn and smashing her windshield.”
The police found out that the surveillance camera at the Car Dealer did not have any record of my entry or exit, but the CCTV on the road recorded my crime.
My wife, who came rushing over and heard the accusations and evidence, slapped me in the face and yelled, “How could you do something so disgusting and depraved?”
I had no way to defend myself and became a murderer who was hated by everyone and ignored the law.
The parents were implicated in this incident and were hit and killed by a car driven by the victim's family.
And I was also in prison, beaten to death by angry fellow hell-mates.
I would never understand it until I died. I clearly drove the car safely to the Car Dealer.
Why didn't the surveillance camera capture me? Why did the car appear here?
Why did they say I killed someone when I clearly didn't pass this road?
When I opened my eyes again, I was back to the day when I had to send my car in for maintenance.
——
“Honey, there is a problem with a project in the company that needs to be dealt with. Can you drive the car to the Car Dealer for maintenance by yourself later?”
Danielle Stark, my wife, said to me as soon as she received a phone call and hurried out.
Such a familiar scene made me realize that I was reborn.
In my previous life, after I promised Danielle, I drove to the Car Dealer alone.
But as soon as I got home, I received a call from the after-sales staff.
