I looked at my best friend standing up for me, and remembered that she was the one who reminded me that something was wrong with Isabella last time, but I didn't take it seriously. Even when Isabella replaced me, she was the first one to notice that something was wrong. On the way to question Isabella, she was hit and killed by a car.
Thinking of this, I couldn't help but shed tears.
"Thank you, Sophia. Come on, let's talk in the car."
Go ahead and I pulled her towards the car.
As soon as I got in the car, I burst into tears and hugged my best friend while crying.
My best friend was at a loss as to what to do after I did this, but she still carefully comforted and coaxed me.
"What's wrong, Eleanor? Did that Isabella make you angry? I'm going to beat her up right now!"
After saying that, my bestie gestured a few times in the air. I laughed out loud at her indignant look.
"Nothing, I just missed you."
My best friend looked at me in disbelief.
"Eleanor, you don't have a fever, do you? Why did you say that today? Such cheesy words."
After saying that, he put his hand on my forehead.
"Oh, I don't have a fever."
After I said this, I took her hand away from my forehead.
Randomly, I held my bestie's hand, looked into her eyes, and spoke to her in a very serious tone.
"Sophia, do you believe that The System exists in this world?"
It was obvious from her expression that she was shocked by what I said, and she quickly touched my forehead with her other hand.
"Eleanor, let's go to the hospital right away. He's running a fever and is already talking nonsense."
I sighed and told her everything I had experienced in my previous life.
After she finished listening to my story, she looked at me in amazement, then she put away her usual joking attitude and spoke to me seriously.
"This Isabella is so mean. Poor Eleanor. Don't worry, Eleanor, I will help you deal with Isabella for the rest of my life!"
Seeing her accept it so quickly, the stone in my heart fell.
"Don't be so hasty, we have to deal with her slowly."
"Let's go back to school first."
As soon as we got off the bus at school, we found that many people were looking at us. I realized something was wrong and hurriedly pulled my best friend towards the dormitory building.
My best friend said as she followed me.
"Why do I feel like they're all looking at us? Could it be Isabella causing trouble?"
I didn't answer, but just quickened my pace.
