After Rebirth, I Didn’t Stop Her AnymoreChapter 1

In my previous life, before graduation, my younger sister said she wanted to invite the entire class to a seafood buffet. I stopped her.

Facing everyone, I said, “Sorry, my sister is allergic to seafood, so she can’t invite you all to a seafood buffet!”

Although everyone said out loud that it was fine, behind our backs they gossiped that we were just pretending, that we simply didn’t want to spend the money. After all, a seafood buffet for the entire class would cost a fortune.

Cheerleader Bella seized the chance to invite the whole class to an all-you-can-eat buffet, and even confessed her feelings to my sister’s childhood friend, which made my sister so furious that she fainted on the spot.

After that, Bella and Ethan Miller, my sister’s childhood friend, openly displayed their relationship in class. My sister blamed everything on me.

One day after school, Chloe Carter cornered me in the restroom. Her eyes burned with rage, her face twisted as she screamed:

“Sophia, do you know that everything that happened to me is because of you? If I had been able to invite everyone to the seafood buffet, then I could have confessed to Ethan there, and right now, his girlfriend would be me!”

“It’s you! It’s all because of you! You ruined my life! I’ll kill you! Die!”

She thrust a dagger into my chest, blood gushing out. Before I died, I saw Chloe pull the dagger out of me and stab it into her own chest, smiling wickedly at me.

My mouth had been stuffed with a rag, so I couldn’t even scream.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the very day Chloe was about to invite the whole class to the seafood buffet.

Watching her bask in the flattery of our classmates, looking smug in the center of the crowd, I felt a strange sense of déjà vu.

Suddenly, someone shoved me and sneered: “Sophia Carter, Chloe is treating us to a seafood buffet. You don’t have a problem with that, do you?”

I glanced at Chloe, shrugged, and said, “I don’t mind. If she’s happy, that’s fine.”

The person blinked, then laughed. “Didn’t expect you to give in this time. All right then, let’s all go to the seafood buffet together!”

I shook my head without hesitation. “No, you go ahead. I have other things to do, I won’t join.”

Chloe’s smug face froze. She came toward me, looking aggrieved. “Sophia, are you upset with me? Is that why you’re refusing to go on purpose?”
