[She deserves to be the greatest mother in the country and she made me cry!]
My mother didn't know that there was an invisible live broadcast at home, so she just helped me turn over and took me to the bathroom to take a shower.
But she was old and exhausted, so even though she used all her strength, she could not lift me off the bed.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door.
Mom opened it and froze when she saw Dad standing there. “What are you doing here?”
Dad held a bag of luggage and said nonchalantly, “If I recall correctly, when we divorced, we transferred this apartment to our daughter's name. As her father, coming to stay at my own daughter's place for a few days, shouldn't be a problem, right?”
After saying that, he pushed his way inside.
My mother was too exhausted after a long day and too tired to argue, so she simply said, "Then help me carry Kelly to the bathroom. I need to bathe her!"
Dad glanced at me and said in disgust, "Ugh, so disgusting. She reeks of poop and pee. There's no way I'm touching her!"
Mom frowned. "Liam O'Hara! Kelly is your daughter! She just gave you the entire one and a half million dollars lottery prize money. How can you refuse to help her?"
Dad snorted coldly. “She gave me that money willingly. You think you can morally blackmail me now?”
Mom sighed. “Whatever Kelly decides, I respect it. She gave you all that money because she hoped you’d finally settle down and live a good life.”
“She's been so devoted to you—can't you be a little kinder to her?”
My dad sneered, “What good is being nice to her? She's just a useless cripple who's been paralyzed for twenty years!”
“I don't get why you bother taking care of this dead weight every day. You might as well just let her die!”
The live comments instantly exploded.
[Holy crap, is this guy even human? Cursing his own daughter to death right in front of her?]
[And the worst part? His daughter still treats this bastard father like royalty! She even gave him one and a half million dollars without blinking to this monster!]
[What was she thinking? Her mother spent twenty years caring for her, racking up mountains of debt, even sacrificing her marriage—and got nothing in return. Is this daughter crazy?]
[She doesn’t appreciate such a great mom, but instead she is devoted to this inhumane bastard of a father! Did her paralysis damage her brain too?]
In the end, Dad never helped.
